In order to use the online payment system provided by Convenient Payments/Govteller, you are charged a convenience fee; the fee that you are charged is to use your debit/credit card or electronic check. The site fee is in addition to the bill (the payment you are making) and is a separate charge from the bill you are paying. In regards to the fees; they are two completely separate items charged by two separate entities. The Consumer fee is charged by a Third party company. The consumer fee is non-refundable. The card-holder/account holder is notified of the consumer fee amount prior to authorization, and has the option to opt-out and pay by another payment method. If consumer fee is accepted, and authorized, the consumer fee will appear as a separate charge on card-holder statement.

Consumer Fees on Credit/Debit cards and Electronic Checks:
Visa, MasterCard & Discover Credit/Debit = $1.50 < $60.00 and 2.49% > $60.01
American Express = $3.5% + $1.50
Electronic Checks: $1.50

A $50 fee for  NSF/Invalid Account #/Unable to locate account etc., will be assessed on all e-checks that do not clear our bank.

You further agree that this User Agreement forms a legally binding contract between you and this agency and that this Agreement constitutes 'a writing signed by You' under any applicable law or regulation.
